The army, backed by the allied Joint Force and the General Intelligence Service, launched an offensive on Wednesday morning to retake Al-Dinder, which fell to the RSF in early July. The sources told Sudan Tribune that the army was able to recover the city of Al-Dinder from the Rapid Support Forces. They said the army used heavy weapons, artillery, and suicide drones under air cover from warplanes in the offensive.
