Ukiah Branch Library will host Wines and Spines Book Club at Lotus Restaurant on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at 403 S. State St. Adults 21 and over are invited to join our monthly book club Wines & Spines. We will meet at Lotus restaurant in downtown Ukiah on the last Thursday evening of each month from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Studies show reading for pleasure reduces anxiety and increases our capacity for compassion. Join us for the long-awaited return of this popular book club for monthly discussions on thought-provoking books through a social justice lens.
