(KRON) – A middle school student was cited after allegedly making “terrorist threats,” according to the Fairfield Police Department. At 12:17 p.m. on Thursday, Fairfield police were notified of an online threat made by a 13-year-old Matt Garcia Career and College Academy student. The student’s parents were contacted and their residence was searched. According to police, there were no weapons found. Fairfield PD said despite no weapon being located, the student was cited for making terrorist threats and disrupting the school environment.
