American teen tobacco use has fallen to a 25-year-low, according to new data analyzed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that was released on Thursday.  The use of any tobacco product by U.S. middle and high school students has dropped from 2.25 million in 2024 compared to 2.8 million last year. The decline was attributed to a drop in the number of students using e-cigarettes, hookah and smoking cigarettes. CDC said within this past year, over half of million fewer students are using tobacco products.  The e-cigarette use has dropped from 2.13 million students in 2023 to 1.63 million in 2024.
