A Tuolumne County Sheriff’s deputy recently recognized the individual as 35-year-old Carlos Canez walking in the 800 block of Mono Way near the Greenley Road intersection and the Sonora Plaza Shopping Center in Sonora. When the deputy approached Canez to question him, he admitted he was on probation. A record check of Canez found that he was on searchable probation.
