On Friday December, 28, the Sheriff’s Office’s Santa’s Shoppers program helped 220 children have a brighter Christmas this year and foster a connection to our local law enforcement. Things were a little different this year due to COVID-19. Officers were not able to shop with the children as usual, but an event was held at the Smith County Ag Center in South Carthage.
