Karachi: Karachi’s Administrator Laeeq Ahmed said that the people of the city should make good use of their household organic waste for tree plantation and kitchen gardening to promote sustainable living in the provincial capital. A workshop in this regard was held at Sir Syed Park of Federal B Area of Karachi under the aegis of Parks and Horticulture Department of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC). Over 500 citizens attended the workshop who were informed about the methods to use household organic waste as fertilizer for kitchen gardening.
