Mrs. Mildred Jean Apple Mrs. Mildred Jean Apple, age 96 of the Pea Ridge Community in Smith County, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Mrs. Jean was born May 6, 1928 in Old Hickory, TN, a daughter of the late Charles Scott Fitzpatrick and Hattie Lee Payne Fitzpatrick. She married Frank Halliburton Apple on December 3, 1952 and he preceded her in death on October 18, 1997. She was also preceded in death by siblings: Jack W. Fitzpatrick and wife, Ardelia, Joe Fitzpatrick and wife, Carlene, Dorothy Allison and husband John and Charles Morgan Fitzpatrick. Aunt Jean had a quick wit, a sweet soul, and loved her family.
