Pandian, Secretary, 5T and Manoj Mishra, Special Secretary, Commerce & Transport visited the proposed Mahanadi Riverine Port site. The officials travelled to the proposed site on a Paradip Port Trust vessel along with PPT Chairman, Rinkesh Roy. MLA Mahakalapada Atanu Sabyaschi Nayak was present at the proposed Mahanadi Riverine Port Site and had discussion with officials. Earlier, the Ministry of Port had agreed to the Odisha’s proposal for the Riverine Port to be developed by PPT. A formal MoU with the State Govt. is under finalisation.
