Five people were killed and two others injured in a car crash in Upper Egypt on Saturday. A private car and pick up truck collided at a single-lane road connecting the old Eastern Desert Road and the New Eastern Desert Road at Minya village of Barsha, according to security sources. The victims were aged between 21-51 years old, and were all referred to Mallawi General Hospital.
