Berhampur: Odisha Vigilance on Thursday arrested Prasanna Kumar Swain, Asst. Engineer (Civil) , Irrigation Division, Bhanjanagar in Ganjam district, for allegedly possessing disproportionate assets. The arrest came a day after the Vigilance sleuths unearthed properties worth more than crores during the house searches of Swain. Based on searches conducted on properties of Swain, he was found in possession of disproportionate assets including 6 Multi Storeyed Buildings of which 1 Four Storeyed palatial building worth approx Rs.2.4 Crore and another 1 Four Storeyed palatial building worth approx Rs 2.3 crore, 5 High-value homestead plots, deposits over Rs.23.94 Lakhs, Gold approx 200 gms, etc,
