HOWLAND — The Ohio Department of Transportation is proposing a new traffic signal at the intersection of state Route 46 and Howland Springs Road. The project is in its engineering phase, according to an ODOT news release, but construction is scheduled to begin sometime in the fall of 2025. Engineers anticipate that two-way traffic can be maintained on the existing road, although some traffic interruptions may occur.
