Greg Abbott announced a $10,000 reward for information that could lead to an arrest in connection with a a 90-year-old Navy veteran who was allegedly murdered in Houston over the weekend, Abbott's office said in a news release. Crime Stoppers is offering its own reward of $5,000. Including the state reward, that brings the amount up to $15,000, the release said. Tipsters who are eligible for a cash reward should either call the Texas Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477) or can submit a tip on the Texas Department of Public Safety website.
