AUSTIN (KXAN) — A man employed at a mental health facility in southeast Austin was arrested Aug. 21 and charged with the sexual assault of a patient, according to court documents. Documents stated on Jan. 20, 48-year-old Jerry Wayne Johnson Jr., an employee at the Judge Guy Herman Center for Mental Health Crisis Care, sexually assaulted a woman who was also a patient at the facility by “causing her to participate in the act by exploiting her emotional dependency.” KXAN reached out to Johnson’s attorney for a statement.
