The first of the two fatal crashes took place about 11 p.m. Thursday, when the driver of a BMW sedan lost control of the car on westbound State Route 76 at Loretta Street in Oceanside, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office. The vehicle struck a center-divider wall and overturned, ejecting a passenger, 22-year-old Xavior Meadows of Oceanside, the agency reported.
