CORTLAND — Rolland “Butch” Jones Jr., 75, passed away peacefully, Thursday, Aug. 15, 2024. He was born May 16, 1949, in Warren, the son of Rolland A. Jones Sr. and Arlene Snyder Jones. Butch married the love of his life, Kathleen Capan, on May 22, 1971, enjoying 53 wonderful years of marriage. Butch was a loving husband, father and most proudly, papa. He enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as cooking, gambling in his lucky green shirt and spending time at the lake on his beloved boat. At a young age, Butch acquired a love for flying, taking lessons from Ernie Hall, where he obtained his pilot’s license before he even had his driver’s license. Butch worked for many years as an
