Now, an early study finds that high-risk HPV infections might be linked with slightly increased levels of sperm death. Infections with high-risk strains of HPV appear to be associated with “significantly higher levels” of dead sperm cells than infections with low-risk strains, according to a small study published Friday in the journal Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology.
