CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Police say a woman found dead in a Charlotte gas station bathroom Saturday night was killed with a hammer. According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, officers responded at 11:15 p.m. Aug. 17 to the QuikTrip on Trailer Drive in northeast Charlotte. The victim, 47-year-old Glandina Latamba Dixon, was pronounced dead at the scene by Medic. Police reports show someone called 911 from the QuikTrip bathroom, saying she was bleeding from the back of her head and there was blood on the floor.
