Supermarket retailer Giant Eagle has sold its GetGo stores to Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., the Quebec, Canada-based operator of Circle K. GetGo employs about 3,500 employees and operates approximately 270 convenience retail and fueling locations across Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland and Indiana. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. As part of this transaction, Couche-Tard and Giant Eagle have agreed to maintain and partner together on Giant Eagle’s popular myPerks loyalty program.
