DENVER (KDVR) -- A man was found dead by search and rescue crews Saturday afternoon after he went hiking and family members could not contact him. Just after 1 p.m., the man's family contacted authorities reporting that they were not able to reach the 57-year-old man through the phone, and he was overdue from hiking on the Mesa Trail, according to a Boulder County Sheriff's Office release.
