(KRON) – A verbal altercation led to a quadruple shooting in Oakland, according to the Oakland Police Department. Around 9 a.m. on Saturday, a ShotSpotter alert was activated near the 1600 block of 83rd Avenue. The department's communication division was also notified of a suspected shooting in the area. Responding officers said they located four victims who sustained gunshot wound(s). Despite the aid rendered to the victims, two of the four were pronounced dead at the scene.
