July 29, 2024 (AL DAMAR/RABAK) – Two suspected Rapid Support Forces (RSF) drones attacked government headquarters in Al Damar, capital of River Nile state, on Monday night, while another targeted an army base in Rabak, White Nile state. Local sources told Sudan Tribune that two explosions in Al Damar, approximately 310 km north of Khartoum, with no ground defences activated. One drone hit the Ministry of Local Government building, causing a fire, while the other landed near the government secretariat. Civil defence forces extinguished the fire, and the River Nile State Security Committee later stated that advanced defences shot down two suicide drones over Al Damar. The committee added that
