AstraZeneca Egypt’s chief executive Hatem al-Werdany announced that the coronavirus vaccine it is developing with Oxford University in Britain should arrive by the first quarter of 2021 at the latest. In a Saturday phone interview with Al-Masry Al-Youm, Werdany said communication is underway with the Ministry of Health to work out the timing and arrival of the vaccine’s first batch, alongside its shipment and other logistical details.
