ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) - An infant is in the hospital after falling asleep, the Rowan County Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday. Deputies responded to calls regarding the incident around 2:58 p.m. on Saturday at a home on Sides Road. An 11-month-old infant was found unconscious and not breathing and was transported to an area medical center with minor injuries. An initial investigation stated that the mother, Jamie Robertson, retrieved a baby bottle from her father's vehicle.
