The collision happened at 8:33 p.m. Sunday when a man riding eastbound on 1700 Grand Avenue on a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle entered the bicycle lane passing stopped traffic on Kendal Avenue, SDPD Officer John Buttle said. A 33-year-old man driving a 2020 Jeep Cherokee westbound at 1800 Grand Avenue started a southbound turn onto Kendal Avenue and broadsided the motorcycle, the officer said.
