AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — A crash early Wednesday morning knocked out power for thousands of residents at an Aurora apartment complex. A driver allegedly lost control of their vehicle at 4th Avenue and Sable Boulevard in the City Center North area. Witnesses said the SUV jumped the curb, hit an Xcel Energy electrical switching cabinet, went airborne off a wall and rolled over. The vehicle ended up against a wall about thirty yards away. Lakewood police release photos of vehicle suspected in deadly hit-and-run People living in the area said they heard an explosion when the crash occurred.
