Mrs. Garnetta Hiett A loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother has died at the age of 89. Mrs. Garnetta Hiett, the fifth of nine children, passed from her earthly journey to her heavenly reward at 11:40 a.m. Friday morning July 12, 2024 at the Smith County Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carthage where she had been residing only a few weeks. The family held funeral services on Monday afternoon July 15th from the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home with her former pastor Bro. Scott Ezell officiating assisted by her current pastor, Bro. Johnathan Rich. Burial will follow beside her husband at the Pickett Hiett Cemetery in the Monoville Community. Born Garnetta Ra
