(KRON) -- A 29-year-old Antioch woman was sentenced to prison on Thursday for sexually abusing a young child whose family hired her as a nanny. Michelle Nicole Hidalgo pleaded guilty to engaging in sex acts with a girl younger than 11 years old. She also admitted to recording the abuse and sharing pornographic images through the social media platform X with other users, the Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office said. Judge David Goldstein sentenced the nanny to serve 15 years to life in state prison. Hidalgo was ordered to report to prison immediately following her sentencing hearing.
