According to Fort Collins Police Services, in April 2024, staff at the Poudre School District told police that there were accusations that one of their teachers inappropriately touched students. The teacher was identified as 52-year-old Evan King. Fort Collins police said King was a teacher and assistant track coach at Lincoln Middle School.
