A 36-year-old Ukiah woman is scheduled to be sentenced next month in Mendocino County Superior Court after pleading “no contest” to eight counts of grand theft related to embezzlement of her former employer, the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office reported. According to the office of DA David Eyster, Sonia L. Lau, of Ukiah, recently entered eight “no-contests” pleas in case involving more than $200,000 embezzled from her former employer, Ammo Plus.
