SMITHSBURG, Md.– The Town of Smithsburg has completed a temporary water shutdown as part of ongoing improvements to the Mountain Shadows area, officials announced Tuesday. Mayor Donnie Souders said the brief interruption in service was necessary to facilitate work on the Mountain Shadows waterline loop project.
