IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Emergency crews battled a large fire Tuesday afternoon in Mooresville. According to Mooresville Fire-Rescue, the large fire broke out around 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, along Timber Road, between Mecklenburg Hwy and Shearers Road. Heavy smoke could be seen from miles away. At least two injuries have been reported. There is no word on exactly what caught on fire at this time.
