(KRON) – Three teens were taken into custody after joyriding in a stolen vehicle on Tuesday, according to Fairfield Police Department. Around 11:48 p.m., Fairfield police officers received an automatic license plate reader FLOCK for a stolen vehicle near North Texas and Airbase Parkway. Responding officers spotted the car and attempted to stop the vehicle. According to Fairfield PD, the driver did not stop and a short pursuit ensued. The chase ended due to the driver colliding into a vacant building at North Texas Street and Travis Boulevard.
