The 122nd Army Band of the Ohio National Guard will take audiences back to the 1980s for two Mahoning County concerts this weekend. The band will perform at 7 p.m. Friday at Woodworth Park, 255 Warren Ave., Beaver, goes to Boardman Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road, for an early Independence Day celebration at 8 p.m. Saturday. The band’s program for its summer shows is “Rewind to the ‘80s,” and it includes such top 40 and rock hits as “Eye of the Tiger,” “Danger Zone,” “Sledgehammer,” “Holding Out for a Hero” and a Michael Jackson medley featuring “Thriller,” “Billie Jean” and “Beat It” as well as some patriotic fare.
