AMMAN: Muhammad Hiyari, mayor of the Greater Salt Municipality in Jordan, on Sunday announced that the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Municipal Support Program will implement a rehabilitation project in the Salt region. The works will improve the bus stop complex and Friday market square. During a site tour, Hiyari said that the 10-dunum (one hectare) project will be completed in stages to minimize disruption to Friday market traders, Jordan News Agency reported.
