Around 3:34 p.m., Austin-Travis County EMS and the Austin Fire Department responded to 4801 La Crosse Ave. after a 911 caller said "a person was down along a fence line," ATCEMS medics said on social media. Around 4 p.m., medics said hasty teams found the person and pronounced them dead on the scene. Then, around 4:41 p.m., APD said it was investigating, and the scene was "still active."
