CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Seven dogs were killed in a house fire that broke out Wednesday night in north Charlotte, the Charlotte Fire Department confirmed on Thursday. Charlotte Fire Department responded around 9:15 p.m. to a working structure fire around in the 1500 block of Clooney Lane, off Rumple Road. Firefighters reported heavy fire showing from the two-story house. Charlotte golf course worker rescued from manhole CFD video shows the front of the house fully charred, with two cars parked in the driveway also damaged.
