Late Monday night, Columbus police chased 35-year-old Noel Hernandez in a car after responding to multiple calls that he was threatening people with a knife. In a Wednesday press conference, Chief Elaine Bryant said Hernandez was not responding to officers' commands in either English or Spanish.
