A 76-year-old Ukiah woman was sentenced to seven years in jail this week after being found guilty of abusing four children in her care, the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office reported. According to the office of DA David Eyster, Audrey J. Hernandez, 76, of Ukiah, was convicted by a jury in October of two felony counts of unlawfully inflicting corporal injury on a child, and three misdemeanor counts of abusing and endangering the health of a child.The victim of the felony counts was ten years of age at the time of the abuse, and the victims of the misdemeanor counts were 15, 13 and 9 years of age at the time.
