Game 4 between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Dallas Mavericks was a thrilling matchup that kept fans on the edge of their seats until the final buzzer. The Timberwolves emerged victorious with a score of 105-100, showcasing their resilience and determination throughout the game.
Both teams displayed impressive offensive prowess, with standout performances from key players on each side. Karl-Anthony Towns led the Timberwolves with 25 points and 14 rebounds, while Luka Doncic put up a strong fight for the Mavericks with 28 points and 8 assists.

Anthony Edwards had 29 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists as the Wolves stayed alive in their first trip to the conference finals in 20 years, and just the second in the franchise’s 35 seasons.
Now third-seeded Minnesota heads home for Game 5 on Thursday night to see if it can make the series even more interesting against No. 5 seed Dallas.
Luka Doncic had 28 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists in his sixth triple-double of these playoffs, but he and co-star Kyrie Irving were just 13 of 39 from the field. Irving, who was 14-0 in his career in closeout games coming in, finished with 16 points.
“Any time you’re missing one of your key players, certainly it’s going to change the dynamics of what they can do,” Finch said. “It gives them obviously less size and balance at the rim.”
Maxi Kleber played for the first time since the first-round series against the Clippers and contributed two points in 13 minutes on 1-of-3 shots. In the meantime, three of the Timberwolves’ starters – Edwards, Towns and Gobert – each were charged with three fouls late in the second quarter.
Still, it was a 49-49 game at the half with Dončić and Edwards scoring 17 points apiece.
Overall, the Mavs shot 42 percent from the field and converted 14-of-40 shots from beyond the three-point arc. By contrast, the Timberwolves made 52.7 percent of their field goals and 11 of their 24 attempts from three-point range.
