WARREN — Janet E. Tenney, 83, passed Thursday, May 23, 2024, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital, after an extended illness. She was born Dec. 28, 1940, in Vandalia, W.Va., the daughter of the late Acel D. and Nellie M. Cunningham Pringle. Janet’s childhood was spent working on the family farm and hanging out with her sister and favorite cousins. She often talked about her pet groundhog, Chuckie, who lived under their porch. On May 7, 1960, Janet married Vacel Tenney and moved to Warren, where they raised their nine children in the Champion area.
