COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – 28 athletes, ranging from the high school classes of 2024 to 2026, are currently at the Olympic Training Facility competing for spots on the USA Basketball U18 National Team. The training camp kicked off on Thursday night and returned again Friday morning. Additional sessions are scheduled for Friday night and Saturday morning before the first cut is made. The USA Basketball Training Camps are always among my favorite evaluation settings because not only are you watching the very best players in the country compete for a limited number of spots, but they are doing so while being coached at a high level and being introduced to new concepts.
