Bhubaneswar: Polling across four Lok Sabha constituencies and 28 Assembly seats in Odisha began today in the first phase of the simultaneous elections in the State. The voters were seen standing in long queues at their respective polling booths to exercise their franchise. The voting is underway in Kalahandi, Koraput, Nabarangpur, and Berhampur Lok Sabha seats and 28 Assembly constituencies under it. As many as 37 candidates for four Lok Sabha seats and 243 candidates are vying for 28 Assembly constituencies in this phase. The Election Commission has set up 7303 polling booths across the constituencies for 62, 87,222 eligible voters including 30, 97,527 male voters and 31, 89,060 female vote
