Oilers and Vancouver Canucks in Round 2 Game 2, the Oilers emerged victorious with a hard-fought 4-3 win. The game was filled with intense action and back-and-forth play, keeping fans on the edge of their seats until the final buzzer.

The Oilers got off to a strong start, taking an early lead in the first period. However, the Canucks fought back and tied the game in the second period with some impressive offensive plays. The third period saw both teams trading goals, but it was ultimately the Oilers who came out on top with a late goal to secure the win.

Evan Bouchard scored 5:38 into overtime and the Edmonton Oilers bounced back for a 4-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks in the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs on Friday.

The result levelled the best-of-seven series at 1-1, with Game 3 set for Sunday in Edmonton.

Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid each registered a goal and three assists, while Mattias Ekholm also scored for the Oilers.

Draisaitl was listed as a game-time decision earlier in the day due to an undisclosed injury.

Edmonton made up for a huge error by Stuart Skinner, the kind of botched stop and goal against that can crush a team. This was Edmonton finding a way to lose in this one. But they battled on.

Mattias Ekholm were all brilliant. And Edmonton refused to lose, getting 11 Grade A shots in the third period to just one for the Vancouver Canucks, before Bouchard won it in overtime.

The Oilers swarmed the Canucks toward the end of the third period but couldn't take the lead for the first time in Game 2 and the game went into overtime.

After an intense start to overtime, it was Bouchard who gave Edmonton the lead, and the win, in Game 2.

"I thought this game was a game where we took over the game halfway through it. We just kept coming, kept pushing," Ekholm told reporters in the locker room.

Goaltender Stuart Skinner allowed five goals on 24 shots during Game 1. When asked about Skinner’s performance, Knoblauch said the pair talked and it wasn’t much different than other conversations they’ve had when he’s had a shutout.

adorov put Vancouver ahead 3-2 with 1:43 left in the second period on a wrist shot off the rush from the bottom of the left circle that went over the right shoulder of Skinner as he leaned into his post.
