The Global Business Alliance (GBA) announced that Nancy McLernon will retire as president and CEO at the end of the year. McLernon, who founded GBA in 1990, grew the organization from less than a dozen members into an influential voice for more than 200 of the world’s best known global brands including Anheuser-Busch, BP and LEGO. GBA has tapped Jonathan Samford, currently executive vice president, to succeed her starting Jan. 1, 2025.
