To the Editor: I’ve really lost patience with two things. 1) The hulking decaying facade of the previous Palace Hotel that continues to blight Ukiah’s downtown. 2) The endless front page reminiscences about the glory days of said Palace Hotel. Is there really nothing but old memories of the heyday of the Palace for the Ukiah Daily Journal to report on? Perhaps we could have an update of how the after school activities are helping our local youth at Alex Rorabaugh Plaza. Or how about news regarding the proposed rubble clean up at greater Riverside Park? If we must read daily about old memories, how about memories of working at the old Montgomery Wards, still lying destitute, boarded up, and a
