Red Bulls put on a masterclass performance against Inter Miami, securing a resounding 4-0 victory. From the opening whistle, the Red Bulls displayed their attacking prowess and defensive solidity, leaving their opponents struggling to keep up.

The first goal came early in the match as Caden Clark found the back of the net with a powerful strike from outside the box. The Red Bulls continued to dominate possession and create chances, with Fabio adding a second goal before halftime.

Lewis Morgan scored a hat trick with an assist as the New York Red Bulls defeated Inter Miami, 4-0, in a wet and chilly match on Saturday afternoon at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.

Inter Miami’s second of the 2024 MLS regular season, both coming without Messi in action.

Messi is tentatively expected to return for Inter Miami’s two matches against LIGA MX club Monterrey in the Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinals. The first leg is April 3, and the second is April 10.

With Carlos Coronel away from the team due to international duty, backup goalie Ryan Meara stopped two shots for RBNY. Meara notched his eighth career clean sheet and first since 2020, and he was aided when video review nullified a goal by Noah Allen in the 77th.

Drake Callender was unavailable due to international duty and CJ dos Santos allowed four goals on six shots.

Morgan scored his first goal after several passes helped New York move closer to the box. Vanzeir flicked a pass to Morgan, who drew Miami defender Tomas Aviles near him in the center of the box. His right-footed shot trickled by dos Santos' leg into the right corner of the net.

New York is coming off a match with plenty of milestones that came from throughout the roster. To start, three players scored their first goals with the club, including Dylan Sullivan, Aiden Jarvis, and Malick Dembele. Dembele was one of three players in the match to make their debut for the club as well. First team goalkeeper and Red Bulls Academy product Aidan Stokes started in net for the first time and posted six saves in the victory. In addition to Stokes, current Red Bulls Academy player Adri Mehmeti also made his debut. The 14-year-old became the youngest player to appear in a match in Red Bulls II history at 14 years and 350 days old, passing Tanner Rosborough who set the mark last season.
