76ers, it was the Suns who emerged victorious with a convincing 115-102 win. The Suns came out strong from the start, establishing an early lead that they never relinquished. Led by their dynamic duo of Devin Booker and Chris Paul, who combined for 52 points, the Suns' offense was firing on all cylinders throughout the game.

On the other hand, the Sixers continued to struggle without their injured star player Joel Embiid. Despite a valiant effort from Ben Simmons, who recorded a triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists, it was not enough to overcome the hot shooting of the Suns.

Thomas, 35, hasn't played in the NBA since 2022 but recently appeared in four games with the Salt Lake City Stars in the NBA G League, averaging 32.5 points.

The Suns, who announced the contract Wednesday, are searching for some scoring punch off the bench as they make their postseason push. Thomas played 46 games with the Suns during the 2014-15 season, averaging 15.2 points.

Thomas has a career scoring averaging of 17.7 points in 550 career games with the Kings, Suns, Celtics, Cavaliers, Lakers, Nuggets, Wizards, Pelicans, Mavericks and Hornets.

Kai Jones, has been bit by the injury bug. He's unavailable with a right hamstring strain. Forward Robert Covington is unavailable with a left knee bone bruise, while guard De'Anthony Melton is shelved with a lumbar spine bone stress in his back.

The Suns had a rough start, missing their first eight shots while turning the ball over four times. They recovered in a hurry, using a 23-6 run in the second quarter to push to a 60-47 halftime advantage despite 13 turnovers.

The Suns shot 10 of 20 (50%) from 3-point range and had a 34-18 rebounding advantage before the break. Allen led the way with 13 points, making 4 of 7 3-pointers.

“He’s always a threat to do what he did tonight,” Suns coach Frank Vogel said.
