BRAINERD — Sophomores Alyssa Torgerson, Kalli Papenfuss, Neveah Hughes and freshman Chesney Phillipp were named to the North All-Division team by the Minnesota College Athletic Conference Monday, Feb. 26. Torgerson landed a spot on the North First Team, while Pappenfuss and Hughes were named to the Second Team. Phillipp was an honorable mention selection. Kalli Papenfuss Rainy River’s Destiny Piekarski was named the North Division Player of the Year. Earning that honor from the South Division was Minnesota West’s Olivia Hayenga. Torgerson, Papenfuss and Hughes also earned spots on the All-MCAC team. Neveah Hughes Papenfuss was also named to the MCAC All-Defensive team.
