SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) – The Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team has landed another big time recruit in its 2025 class. Offensive tackle Matty Augustine out of Brunswick School in Greenwich Connecticut committed to the Irish this afternoon. Augustine had offers from Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida State and many others. The high school junior stands 6′7″ and weighs 290 pounds. Augustine is one of three recruits the Irish have landed in the past ten days, including receiver Elijah Burress, the son of NFL great Plaxido Burress, and receiver Terrence Carey.
